Natalie and Vince’s Hafod Farm Wedding was one of my favourite weddings in one of my favorite venues. It is a charming place set within the Conwy valley. I am so lucky photographing weddings in North Wales as I get see to some incredible venues in beautiful places.
It’s a joy to shoot weddings at Hafod Farm, as it’s such a relaxed, intimate and picturesque venue. It literally ticks every box for a wedding in my opinion. Natalie and Vince’s ceremony was held in the super atmospheric tall barn. The drinks reception was just outside in the farm grounds with the stunning mountain backdrop. This was perfectly accompanied with string quartet and chickens for company during the day.
The weather was kind to us and allowed the string quartet to play outside among the chickens for the afternoon drinks reception whilst both sets of families had a great time. It was a pleasure mingling in among guests informally taking candid photographs (one of my favorite parts of a wedding day). I get the opportunity at this point in the day to really be unnoticed whilst guests mingle, chat and enjoy themselves. The weather turned a little later on in the day, however the rain coincided with the wedding breakfast whilst we were in the marquee (great timing!).
Speeches and Evening
We were inside for some emotional speeches at this point and the rain didn’t last long at all. The sun came back out and the guests all headed back out for some evening sunshine and a few drinks whilst the sun went down. Then we were back in the tall barn for the evening reception and Natalie and Vince’s first dance. A great time was had by all and lots of dancing followed through the night. A perfect day at a perfect venue. Here’s a set of images telling the story of Natalie and Vince’s Hafod Farm wedding enjoy!
