Great weather, a large turn out and a fire breathing dragon was the catalyst for a a fab atmosphere as lot of families descended to the city centre to see the story of St George as told by Russell kirk.
Local schools had been involved in creating the costumes and the children got the chance to participate with swords, bows and jousting outside Chester town hall.
The parade moved around Chester’s city centre and finally ended back at the town hall where the dragon appeared.
Our patron saint was performed by Phil Cross.
I’m a documentary street and wedding photographer who loves Chester.
